Meet the Fighters

Victor Ma

Victor Ma, but just call him Vic. Vic was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York, He did an enlistment in the in the Navy and somehow found himself in Raleigh during the middle of the pandemic. He got into training martial arts at a young age for self defense which soon turned into a lifelong passion for martial arts. Outside the gym Vic enjoys drawing pictures, skateboarding and “wandering and loitering” on his free time outside of training.

Hunter Perez

Hunter is a lifelong Martial Artist with over 12 years of experience in various disciplines. He has competed in Karate and received his black belt as a youth. Hunter is an active competitor in Kickboxing and Kyokushin Karate, with past experience competing in MMA. Hunter is a NASM Certified personal trainer with 5 years of coaching experience. He also received an Undergraduate degree in Sports Management with a minor in Excercise Science.

Talia Cusanelli

Talia is a competitor in MMA, kickboxing, and BJJ. She is also co-owner and manager of Hometown Martial Arts. Outside of the gym, Talia is a Pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist and works with children at a private practice. She also enjoys eating dessert, playing the piano, reading, and hanging out with her three dogs. 

Ekemini Etukudoh

EK is a 23 year old from Charlotte NC. His Martial Arts background include Muay Thai and Boxing. Outside of the gym EK can be found reading, eating, sleeping, working, and playing with his dog. Some of EK's favorite fighters of all time are Terry Norris, Gokhan Saki, and Jose Aldo. 

Piper Keeley

Piper is the coolest high school you'll ever meet. She has a history in Ballet which translates to her killer head kicks. She currently competes trains and competes in Kickboxing while juggling the demands of high school. 

Evie

Evie is 12 years old and started training Muay Thai when she was 6. When she's not training, she enjoys hanging out with her sister and browsing Tik Tok.

Caydence

Caydence is 10 years old and started training Muay Thai when she was 4 years old. When she's not training, she enjoys hanging out with her sister and taking care of her chickens.
